If there's one thing I love more in this world than avocados, it's breakfast. I'm constantly on the lookout for new and exciting trends, flavors, and places to eat. I take treat-yoself to a whole new level when it comes to the most important meal of the day. But as much as I love to chow down on a delicious, fluffy waffle or a giant Western Omelet, Oatmeal will always be one of my go to's.
I'm working on this rainy Saturday morning in NYC and while walking through Chelsea Market, I realized, like every day on my way to work, all my options. I passed my usual go-to's like Sarabeth's and Amy's Bread and made a beeline for Creamline, one of the newer additions to historic Chelsea Market. My coworker's have been talking about it since it opened and I decided to finally give it a shot.
Creamline is a farm to table restaurant serving primarily burgers, sandwiches and shakes. As an added bonus, they serve all day breakfast. When I saw their oatmeal on the menu, I decided I had to have it. Dried cherries, almonds, and Catskill honey sit atop a heavenly portion of perfectly cooked organic oats. This oatmeal is the perfect way to stay full until lunch time at a price that will keep you coming back for more. Creamline even made one of my favorite drinks for me- iced tea mixed with lemonade.
At $4.50 for the oatmeal and $3.50 for my drink, this $8 breakfast is way under my $12 budget. Creamline has other breakfast options on their menu for a great price, making this the perfect mix and match destination if you're on a budget. If you're not an oatmeal lover, try their yogurt and granola for $4.50. If egg-cellent eggs are your thing, try their Breakfast Sandwich for $5. I know I'll definitely be coming back for more.
